The Heart Behind It All

Before there was Dignity Threads, there were women whose strength quietly shaped the generations that followed.

My grandmother, Antonia Matos Santiago, immigrated from Puerto Rico and built a life through perseverance, faith, sacrifice, and love. Like so many women before her, she didn't seek recognition. She simply kept showing up for her family.

Her story reminds us that dignity isn't earned through achievement. It is something every person already possesses.
